Sunrise Over Columbus Georgia

It seems that once a year at this exact spot I stand here and shoot the sunrise over columbus. Something i have proven to myself is that no matter how many times i come back to the same locations even under exact same conditions I can always come back with completely different work. That’s the part of photography that keeps me engaged and loving it. Sometimes i come holding different ideas and emotional connection to the current circumstances. All this helps to produce something i might not have thought about last time. The most important thing is that location dynamics change with every visit. No matter where you go. That part of photography can make every outing feel like its own special world. Sun, time of day, and time of year are the obvious factors. Nature, people, wildlife, and timing always multiply the outcomes. To look at it honestly this is just life showing you how beautifully unique each second of every day is.

I came out this morning with the main intention of updating my website photos. What i got ended up being something familiarly different. I showed up with specific intentions like clothing color that pairs with my environment and shot type ideas. I knew i would react the best i could with whatever the morning gave me. Just like always i trust my creative process freely amongst planed constraints. That’s how i have learned to work that fits me best. Just an outline with room to drift.

I hope you enjoy looking at these photos as much as i did making them.
